Terms of Use

Last updated: 17 May 2026

By using Imposter (the iOS app and this website) you agree to the following terms. If you don't agree, please don't use the service.

Who can use it

Imposter is intended for users aged 13 and older. You're responsible for what you do on the service and the display name you choose. Don't pick names containing slurs, harassment, or sexually explicit content.

How it works

Imposter is a party / social-deduction game. Each round, players watch a short video clip privately on their own phone — one player (the "impostor") sees a different clip. Players take turns saying a one-word clue out loud, then vote on who they think is the impostor. No audio is recorded by the app.

Video content & takedown notices

Are you the creator of a clip used in the game? Email michaelperes1@gmail.com and we will remove the clip from our deck immediately.
